How to get around the city during the event
There is an extended bus service along the main bus routes during the event (bus lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9).
With a normal bus ticket - cost € 1.25 - you can travel by bus for six hours from Friday to Sunday.
Castle shuttle bus
A shuttle bus from Piazza Libertà to the Piazzale del Castello and back, for people with reduced mobility (the elderly and disabled) is available during the days of the event with the following timetable: Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 11.00 AM to 11:00 PM and Sunday from 11.00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Various parking garages and underground car parks (in addition to street level parking) are available for visitors arriving by car inside the city ring. The Vascello car park will be open 24 hours a day, while all the other car parks: Venerio, Moretti, Andreuzzi, Caccia, Magrini and Tribunale, stay open until 1:00 AM on Thursday and Sunday, and until 4:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Several car parks are available free of charge, including car parks at the Friuli Stadium, at Fiera, in via Chiusaforte and at the Giovanni da Udine theatre, where visitors can collect their car 24 hours a day.
As for parking on the streets in the blue zones, between 8 AM and 1 PM and 2:30 PM to 8 PM, visitors are required to pay for a parking ticket.
